Messy Bun :)

Hey everybody, looong time no see :)

So I recently had a very short dream that I was being kidnapped, and this guy was pulling on my arm.

My first instinct in the dream was to bite him, so I bit at his arm.

At the same time, I bit my own arm in my sleep, so now I have a bruise/bite mark on my upper arm.

I totally forgot about it in the morning, but when I saw it in the mirror, I remembered, and I thought it was cool that I could do that.

I knew I had bit myself in my sleep, because I felt the stinging, but I just drifted off to sleep again.

Pretty spunky, huh?

Anyway, I found this easy hair tutorial on Pinterest, and I use it all the time, and I love it. It keeps my hair out of my face, and doesn't tickle my neck and make me think that I have a spider on me.

I present to yoooooou the Messy Bun!

This is easy if your hair is longer, like a little bit past your shoulders, and if it's more straight. But curly should work too!

Just note, when they say "Make your hair dirty", it doesn't mean that you need to go roll around in the mud, or put products in it. Just run your fingers through it, flip it over a bunch, you see?

Because my hair is very thick, I have to use more bobby pins than it says to use, but use however many fit your needs. :)

Smile, because it's the most beautiful thing you can wear :)

Hair Fun: The Fishtail Braid

The Fishtail Braid is a braid that I always do, because the normal braid is just too normal for me.

Many people wonder how you do this fun braid, but it's easier than you think!

Here we goooo:

Fashion | SimplyFind

The main part of this braid that you need to make sure you are doing correctly is that you are pulling each piece of hair from the outside of your hair, not the inside.

Keep practicing, keep practicing. It's easy for me because my hair is straight, but if yours isn't, brush through it, and make it as straight as possible.

Simple, fun braid!

Have fun with your hair! :)

Hair Fun :)

As a kick-off to the hair fashion page, I decided to post the first style here!

This is from the Freckled Fox, a very awesome website :)

I love the way it looks in her hair. A bit harder for me because my hair is very thick and not super long, but I keep trying at it!

I enjoy this hairstyle, just a bun I do when my hair gets in my face.

I hope you gals enjoy it! If you want any hair tutorials posted here, just ask!

I love the beach :D

You guys have all been to the beach, right?

Unless you live somewhere in the middle of your country where you can't get to the beach as much as you would like to.

But where I live, it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to get there. It's not always the nicest there.

It was sprinkling a little bit, and it was cloudy all day, but it soon stopped sprinkling, and it wasn't windy or cold! :D

I'm not a relaxer (yet) when I go to the beach, so I like going to the water and staying there and getting cold from it. It's fun.

But what always seems to get me out of the water for good on the beach trip is when I see jellyfish come onto shore and then go back. *shudder* I ran out when I saw it. We were leaving anyway.

Yeah, we all felt fat when we left because we ate a bunch of snacks that we brought along.

We also went across the 4 mile bridge to Washington to go to Long Beach. We didn't do much there, just look around at the shops and walk on the boardwalk.

So overall, it wasn't as great as our usual beach trips are, but still.

It was fun.

What are your beach trips like?

Hiking is Fun

I went hiking yesterday, and I think it's really fun. How many of you guys don't go hiking? :O

Went first hiked up this cool trail that lead to a waterfall. It smelled like forest and all of that good stuff.

Then we hiked near the tallest point in Oregon, Mt. Hood, which is like 45 minutes away from where I live. We just hiked a trail that leads up to this stream, and has a great view of the mountain. We walked over some logs to get over the stream and see the mountain better. Then me and my mom made a Caren (how do you spell that?). She got a couple of pictures, and then we hiked back.

What I didn't like about the hike was that there were a lot of bugs. They were flying all around us, and I kept flipping out.

Oh, and we found a tree that looked like it had a butt.

Poppy and Rye

Hi everyone!

Is posting a book on a blog legal?

I have a book to share about animals. I think it's a cute story, about a family of golden mice whose home is flooded by beavers. Meanwhile, Poppy, a deer mouse, is off to that family to tell them that one of their family members has died.

It's a fun story that I like to read, and I would like to share it with you guys!

Guest Posting on Other Blogs

To Jammers:

Since this blog won't be having posts every single day, I thought if you ever wanted me to guest post once or twice, you could ask, and I would post what you would like me to post, whether it's an article, a story, advice, or anything else!

Just a heads-up!

Mama Birds Mean Business

So I went to my grandma's house, and she has those hanging pots on her deck. Well, a robin had built a nest in one of them, because there weren't any flowers growing in them, and laid her eggs. The eggs had hatched and the baby birds were laying in the nest, opening their beaks in hope for some delicious, gooey wormies.

We first saw the mama sitting on them to keep them warm, and then when we got closer, she flew away.

So today, we went back because my mom wanted to pick some raspberries from grandma's house, and we saw the nest, and the mama robin was sitting by her babies, and they were much bigger than last time. Not fully grown, but bigger and adorable.

When we stepped closer, the mama flew away, like always, and left her babies. I stepped on one of the chairs to get a better look and take a picture.

First off, some advice, never go near almost full grown robins and their mommy.

Next thing I knew the baby robins flew out of the nest and the mama flew over TO the nest, hovering in place and squawking like we had just took her babies from her. She looked like she could have killed us!

I just kind of looked at her in shock, wondering if she was going to get any closer and possibly peck my head off, but after a moment I didn't want to wait around anymore. I got off the chair and ran inside.

I had no idea the baby birds had learned to fly so quickly, especially since this was only about a week after they were tiny ugly babies that barely had any feathers.

So turns out, I didn't get a picture, but I sure did see a mama bird look like she was about to either crap more eggs out or crap on me or poke a hole in my face.

So don't go near baby birds. No matter how cute they are. Just- just don't.

Getting In Trouble Is Lame

When I was little, I could be the troublemaker....some of the reasons I got in trouble are just plain ridiculous!

One of my old P.E. teachers in elementary school made us sit criss-cross applesauce, and we had to sit up straight and not lean on our hands. Which is ridiculous. So I was leaning on my hands one time and at that moment I remembered we weren't supposed to, so I quickly put my hands back in my lap. Coincidentally, at the same time, somebody clapped, and the P.E. teacher was like "WHO CLAPPED?!" and she thought it was me because the person clapped at the same time I put my hands back. I said it wasn't me, and this one girl told her it WAS me, so after class I told her that if she didn't tell on me anymore I would be her friend. She accepted. Hee hee and now we're still friends.

And there's the time I got detention for the first time (DUN DUN DUUUUN).

So in the middle school I went to, the intercom lady was able to speak to only one classroom at a time. She called into my woodshop teacher's room, and he was working with another kid, so I answer for him and it was fun haha. He said I deserved a detention which rained on my parade. Detention wasn't bad, you just had to sit a room with the other detention kids and do nothing or whatever for 10 minutes, and you couldn't go to lunch until then, and then you had to eat with only the other detention kids. I still think that punishment was stupid.

If any of you guys have gotten in trouble, I so want to hear the stories, especially if they're hilarious :D

When I Was Little

Okay, even back when I was little, I was still pretty weird.

I pretended that a bag of marshmallows was my baby, and I carried it around the house and put it in a little baby chair, and I would to behind the rocking chair to poop. We had this one Frisbee and I liked to step on it, and it would make a "pop" noise, so I would laugh.

And as I got older, I could get a little bit cranky, and "stupid" was a really bad word in kindergarten. And my P.E. teacher took my hula hoop away because I pretended that it was a dog.

I always liked school and it was the easiest thing ever, and when my mom did daycare at our old house for my cousins and friends, we always took empty boxes from the grocery store to make forts. And I started to dislike school when I was in 5th grade because we did this boring history thing where we boringly learned about a famous old guy and then glued his face in a book and wrote about him.

And I was a talker. In 1st grade I had to turn my card because I was telling this kid about my cool pencil when the teacher had said not to talk anymore.

But my childhood was fun :D

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've searched and searched and searched but nothing comes up :(

Hey! Listen!

Welcome to this neeeew blog, about my life (as a human) and the many stories of things that happen. They are all true, an can be extremely weird, funny, sad, and all of that good stuff.

This blog isn't completely finished, because some of the pages aren't completed, and the design might look kind of plain. (Can that be good...?)

I hope you enjoy this blog!
